Sandringham School is a highly popular, outstanding school situated in the picturesque city of St Albans Hertfordshire, conveniently located just 20 minutes by train from St Pancras, London.

Sandringham School is committed to supporting all students to achieve as highly as possible and to access the next stage in their education. Each year, we have students who have a range of special educational needs who need support to secure a grade 4 in English and other GCSE qualifications. We run a programme of structured intervention to support students with individual needs and are looking to add capacity to our team so that we can help every student as needed. The core purpose of this role is to teach students either 1-2-1 or in small groups to help them to make excellent progress in English and with wider literacy skills. This will enable them to secure good outcomes at the end of KS4 for their next stage in education and employment. We are looking for a qualified English teacher (QTS), or a qualified teacher in another subject area with extensive experience in supporting students with special educational needs.  The core work will be focussed on KS4 students, but there may be instances where there will be support needed for KS3.
