Maple Grove Primary School is at an exciting stage of its continuing development, building upon the existing successes and looking to grow. We seek an inspirational and enthusiastic KS2 teacher and ‘Maths no problem ’ Math leader who will further develop our setting.
The successful candidate will have a clear vision for the teaching and learning throughout KS2 and Maths skills across the curriculum and demonstrate an ability to use research-based evidence to inform and reflect upon practice.
You will participate in significant strategic, long-term decisions for the school. Each week, there will be a teaching commitment and release time for Leadership time. This vacancy is ideal for a Class Teacher who has been teaching for a minimum of 3 years and who is looking to develop their leadership skills.
We are looking for someone to join our supportive team who:
- Puts children at the top of the agenda and has a passion for working within the primary phases
- Can demonstrate excellent experience teaching within KS2 with in-depth knowledge and understanding of the primary curriculum.
- Has a solid commitment to raising achievement and can excite, inspire and motivate pupils and staff to achieve their best.
- Is knowledgeable and passionate about education
- Is open to new ideas and approaches
- Is keen to develop and grow their leadership skills through the role.
- Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills and is committed to collaborative working, leading, and motivating a team.
- Has energy, enthusiasm, and a sense of humour.
- Is committed to delivering exciting and innovative learning experiences for pupils of all needs and abilities.
