About the role

Are you looking for a part-time role full of variety and excitement?

We are looking to appoint a part-time (up to 32.5hours over 5 days) Learning Support Assistant to start after October half term 2026.

As a one-form entry primary school, you would soon feel part of our St Paul's family where belonging is one of our key aims.

Ofsted July 2023:

' Pupils are very happy to belong to St Paul’s Church of England Primary School. There are high expectations for their learning and behaviour. Pupils enjoy an engaging curriculum. It is brought to life through trips to places of interest, visiting speakers and theme days linked to curriculum subjects. Pupils are polite, kind and caring..they behave very well. '

The school is in a fantastic location with Langleybury Children's Farm on our doorstep (which we visit fortnightly) and vast wooded outside areas.

We are looking for someone who will fit right into our happy school and would welcome applicants who are experienced or those who are nearer the start of their career.

Visits to our school are strongly recommended so you can see the school in action and meet the team. We would love to meet you.

Please also take a look at our school website.

We are situated near the M25 and A41 towards Watford.

We can offer you:

  • an experienced teacher mentor to guide you

  • supportive SLT and Governors who will always listen

  • fabulous colleagues who will show you the ropes

  • opportunities for further CPD to enable you to flourish

  • most of all  - well behaved children who are keen to learn

We reserve the right to make an appointment before the closing date, so early visits and applications are encouraged.

St Paul’s School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Appointment to this post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check as well as other pre-appointment checks outlined in Keeping Children Safe in Education (2024). To help us meet our high standards and aspirations of a fully diverse and inclusive workplace, we strongly encourage suitably qualified applicants from all backgrounds to apply and join us.
