About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, fun and caring person to join our supportive team as a 'Lunchtime playleader'.
Lunchtime forms 20% of the school day, it can have a huge impact on children’s wellbeing and learning. Therefore we are recruting a play leader to influence positive play and learning experiences.
Working 12-1.30 Monday - Friday you will be responsible for setting up and storing away play resources on the playground and liaising with the Headteacher in order to keep resources replenished.
You will also model and encourage play and monitor popularity of activities, introducing new ones when needed.
This is a ‘protected role’ and separate from the Midday Supervisory Assistant role.
Holtsmere End Infant and Nursery School is a Good (Ofsted April 2022) and progressive school. We hold the Inclusion Quality Mark and are considered an inclusive Flagship school.
We are an oversubscribed 2 form entry Infant and Nursery school on Woodhall Farm on the edge of Hemel Hempstead with a 40 place Nursery and an extensive leafy, outdoor space. We run a successful 'forest school' too and have recently introduced a dedicated SEN 'Blossom' classroom with a qualified and experienced SEN teacher.
