About the role
We have a wonderful opportunity to join our amazing team at Ludwick to support our full time children over the lunchtime period.
This role is ideal for someone who has childcare qualification ( level 2 or above) and is able to work for a couple of hours everyday during term time. The weekly hours are 11am-1pm Monday to Friday term time only.
At Ludwick Nursery School, eating together is an important part of our daily routine; it replicates family life and supports our curriculum ambitions of 'developing a sense of community' and 'becoming an effective communicator'.
Our children who are at nursery all day are supported by kind, skilled and qualified practitioners at lunchtime, to ensure that they feel safe and cared for while their keyworkers have a well-earned rest.
You will play a key role in supporting the team to ensure smooth transitions during the lunch time, you will also be committed to ensuring that lunchtime supports the development of the children's social and communication skills, as well as developing their independence skills. Communication with keyworkers is also a key element of this role.
We will offer first aid and child protection training to support this role.
