About the role
Are You a Level 3 Qualified Early Years Practitioner? Join Our Wonderful Team!
Watton at Stone Primary and Nursery School is a happy and thriving environment, and our pre-school is a cornerstone of our early years provision. We are experiencing an exciting period of growth, with more children than ever before set to join our pre-school in January 2026, largely thanks to the increased availability of funded places for working parents of 2-year-olds. To continue providing exceptional care and learning opportunities, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our fantastic team!
This is a rewarding part-time opportunity where you will primarily work within our vibrant pre-school team. If you are a Level 3 qualified practitioner looking for a role where you can truly make a difference, then Watton at Stone Primary and Nursery School might be the perfect setting for you.
As a key person in our pre school, you will play an important role in supporting individual children's learning, development and wellbeing. You will build strong, trusting relationships with your key children and their families, completing observations, tracking progress and tailoring provision.
This position is offered as a fixed-term contract initially, from January 2026 to July 2027. However, with the anticipated continued growth in our pre-school numbers, we are hopeful that this role will be extended after July 2026. If pre school numbers also increase throughout the year, we may be able to increase the number of hours available to work.
Monday - Friday 8.30am - 12.15pm.
If you would like additional hours, then there is a possibility of additional hours by supporting the pre school children at lunchtime. These additional hours can be discussed at interview.
