About the role

We are looking for a School Administrator to work as a key member of our office team.  Our ideal colleague will have a strong administration background, be highly organised and be able to work independently within the team.  Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with excellent ICT skills.

A job description is attached, but main duties include:

Administrative support to the Headteacher and school staff

Co-ordinating pupil admissions to School and Nursery

Being point of contact for parents, visitors and staff

Administration of out of hours care – Breakfast and After School Clubs

Administration for the Nursery, including the admissions / allocations processes and matters relating to the extended 30 hours scheme.

The successful candidate will be competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages and it would be advantageous to have experience of school software (particularly Arbor). Experience of working in a school office would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided.

The salary for this post is H3.5 - H3.6 - £24,790-£25,183 pro rata

The hours are 37 hours per week and would be 8.00 - 4.00pm Monday to Thursday, 8.00 to 3.30 Friday - Term Time Only 

The post is to start September 2025
