Position: SEN Teaching Assistant – Part time 30 hours per week -Term time only
Grade: H2 – £24,027.00 – 24,790.00 (FTE) the salary quoted is the full time equivalent (FTE). As this is a part-time, term time only position, the actual salary with be prorated
Contract: Fixed Term (Ongoing)
Hours of Work: 8.55 am – 3.25 pm Monday & Friday (30 min lunch break) term time only
Start Date: September 2025
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working person with high expectations of themselves and others to join our school team as a Class Teaching Assistant supporting either our EYFS or Key Stage 1.
We are looking for a teaching assistant who:
- has knowledge of the primary curriculum;
- has high expectations of achievement and behaviour;
- has good numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Maths is essential)
- has or is working towards a level 2 or 3 education based diploma (desirable)
- has experience of working with children (desirable);
- can confidently communicate with parents, carers and class teachers; and
- understands and embraces the school's ethos.
