About the role
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special
educational needs and disabilities? Do you have the patience, dedication, and skills
to support a pupil 1:1 in their learning journey? If so, we want to hear from you!
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to join
our team. In this role, you will:
-Provide individual support to a pupil with SEND, helping them access the
curriculum and engage in learning activities.
- Support the pupil's social and emotional development, fostering a positive
and inclusive learning environment.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual
education plans (IEPs) and track the pupil's progress.
- Use positive behaviour management strategies to support the pupil's well-
being and development.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications or experience in supporting children with SEND.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enhanced DBS disclosure or willingness to obtain one.
- Right to work in the UK.
