About the role
We are looking for compassionate and skilled individuals to join our team in supporting some of our wonderful children with additional needs across the school.
Applicants must have experience working with children with SEND.
It is desirable for candidates to have experience working with children who have SEMH needs, along with an understanding of childhood trauma and effective strategies for supporting pupils who may present with complex or challenging behaviour.
You will work closely with class teachers and our SENCo to co-design and implement risk management plans and behaviour support strategies, aligned with our therapeutic behaviour policy. In this role, you will support pupils in the classroom with their learning, social relationships, and emotional regulation, while also developing strong, supportive partnerships with their families.
You will become a trusted ‘safe person’ for some of our most vulnerable children, potentially having a life changing impact on their school experience.
We offer comprehensive training and ongoing support. You will also have access to a network of external professionals, including autism and behaviour specialists, as well as our in-school counselling and speech and language therapy services.
Please do call the office to speak to Miss Borgeat or Mrs Cracknell for further information.
We reserve the right to interview suitable candidates before the closing date, so we encourage early applications.
