About the role

We are seeking to appoint a SEND TA , Grade H2, starting in September, to support an individual pupil with special needs and an EHCP in  Year R. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, nurturing and efficient team player with good communication skills. Experience of working with pupils with autism ideal but not essential. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and there will be a need for the successful applicant to be DBS checked.

Layston C of E First School is a small, inclusive and nurturing education setting within rural Hertfordshire for children aged 4-9 years. Our school has extensive grounds where we enjoy outdoor learning, Forest School and a creative curriculum and children are put at the centre of a compassionate Christian community.
