About the role
We are a welcoming and inclusive Nursery and Infants' school in Stevenage with high expectations for our children who are motivated and keen to learn. We are looking to appoint a patient, hard-working and confident Teaching Assistant with SEN or behaviour experience to join our creative and friendly staff team. This appointment will be on a term time only basis.
The successful candidate will be well experienced in working with young children with SEN, and able to support a child 1:1.
We are looking for someone who has:
A positive, patient and pro-active approach
commitment to children's learning
An ability to work well in a team
A desire to develop their own practice
Experience of working with young children of all abilities, preferably in an educational environment
Level 2 or above qualification in Classroom Learning Support or similar in terms of experience
GCSE passes in Maths and English
good behaviour management

This role is for 27.5 hours a week on a fixed-term contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.
