We are seeking an inspirational and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our warm, welcoming and vibrant primary school in the middle of Hitchin with a sense of community at its core. Our school is nurturing and engaging, where our children feel valued, supported and inspired.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Work closely with class teachers and the SENDCo to provide tailored support for children with a range of needs, adapting learning activities to ensure inclusion and progress.
- Foster supportive, respectful relationships with children, promoting confidence, independence and a positive attitude to learning.
- Promote self-esteem and resilience by celebrating achievements and encouraging a growth mindset.
- Offer a calm and encouraging presence, helping children build confidence, manage emotions and develop positive social skills.

The positon is term time only and the contracted hours are from 8.30am to 3.35pm. Candidates will be expected to supervise lunchtimes for 30 minutes each day, with a 30 minute lunch break.
