About the role
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic part time teaching assistant at an exciting time in our school life, to help contribute to our ongoing success. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the class teacher and senior leaders, fulfilling some or all the following responsibilities:
- Work in a class-based context, supporting the class teacher in attending to the needs of all pupils, including those with individual or special educational needs,
- Working with groups of children, preparing the learning environment and providing administrative support
- Working 1 to 1 with pupils with SEN/D, assisting them with accessing lessons and supporting their emotional needs.
- Working as a Midday Supervising Assistant, supervising children in the dining hall and out at play.
