About the role

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and flexible practitioner to work alongside our existing experienced teaching assistants and teachers, both working 1:1 and with small groups.

Hartsfield is a friendly, happy school where there is a strong culture of collaboration and a healthy work-life balance. Teaching assistants are vital members of our team, working closely with the class teachers and senior leadership team, and experience of working with children is therefore essential.

We are looking for someone to work ideally full-time however we can be flexible if a candidate requires part-time hours. The successful candidate is likely to be working initially in KS1 but this could change over time. Initially, the appointment is fixed-term for the academic year; however, there is a good chance this could become a permanent position.

If you wish to know more about the post or wish to visit the school, please do not hesitate to ring our office team or the Headteacher (Ollie Monro) for an informal chat. Please look at our website www.hartsfield.herts.sch.uk to get a 'flavour' of the school, and get in touch if you would like to visit and see the school in action!

We are committed to the safeguarding of all children and young people. The appointment will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, references and medical checks. Applications should be made online using the standard HCC application.
