Team Assistant

About the role

The Harpenden Plus Partnership of Schools is looking for an enthusiastic and well-organised Team Assistant to join our busy and awarding winning team on a term-time only basis. The role will be based in our office at Sauncey Wood Primary school for 6 hours per week (ideally Tuesday & Wednesday) and the successful applicant will need to commit to occasional flexible working e.g. for essential training. The team works alongside 23 schools to support local families and the Team Assistant role will be an integral support function to the Partnership Manager and the Family Support Team. The role is varied, busy and involves all aspects of supporting the day-to-day running of the Partnership including liaising with local schools, co-facilitating emotional well-being courses for children, co-ordinating sports events/results and music events, managing the counselling referrals, organising hygiene bags, reviewing/updating grant applications and managing our online presence. The successful candidate will:

? Be a friendly team player able to work on their own initiative and prioritise their work;

? Be reliable, organised, creative and proactive, with excellent communication skills;

? Be competent and confident in the use of IT such as Word, Excel, and office software;

? Be able to deal with new challenges quickly and have a willingness to learn new systems;

? Have excellent record keeping skills and GCSE Maths and English;

? Have a flexible attitude, alongside excellent organisational skills and close attention to detail;

? Be willing to undertake other reasonable duties as delegated by the Partnership Manager.

? Be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times.
