WELFARE AND LEARNING SUPPORT COORDINATOR

Required for September 2025

Salary range:                H6 point 14 to 19 (£28,624 to £31,067 FTE) depending on experience

Actual Salary Range:   H6 £22,267 to £24,102 (including London Fringe Allowance)

Hours: 32½ hours per week (term time only plus inset days)

8.30 am to 3.30 pm Monday to Friday with a 30-minute lunch break

 

We wish to appoint a Welfare and Learning Support Coordinator to assist the SENCO in managing and leading the LSA team

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the timetabling of LSA support within the classroom and the SEN Hub room
  • Liaising with subject departments, pastoral leads, support services and parents
  • Coordinating and monitoring the support of KS3 and KS4 pupils
  • Collating evidence from teaching staff, coordinating the writing of exam access arrangement documents and liaising with external support agencies to coordinate and set up the agreed arrangements for all KS4 pupils
  • Attending parents evenings on an adhoc basis

This is a post for which there is a demonstrable skills shortage.  In accordance with the school’s admissions criteria, children of staff at the school are eligible to be allocated a place under this criterion where the member of staff is recruited under a contract of employment to fill a vacant post for which there is a demonstrable skill shortage.
