St Mary's Junior School are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our warm, friendly and dedicated team as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone wanting the chance to gain valuable classroom experience across Key Stage 2 allowing the successful candidate to develop their confidence, skills and understanding of SEN.
This role focuses on supporting a Key Stage 2 pupil by providing personalised educational and emotional support to help them reach their full potential. The successful candidate will have an inclusive approach to teaching and learning with a therapeutic approach in supporting behaviour.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly support staff team. You will be working to support an individual child and deliver provision as outlined within an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). In addition to this, you will also support other children within the classroom as part of the class teaching team. Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience of supporting special educational needs within a school setting. However, we also welcome applications from candidates who are keen to gain experience and skills and have the enthusiasm to pursue a career in this area. Please note that this post is directly linked to the child being on roll at the school and their associated funding.

Pay Scale: H3 (5 mornings per week 8:30-12:00)
