We are looking for an excellent full time class teacher to join us on a permanent contract in Key Stage 2 from September 2025.
We welcome applications from experienced teachers and ECT's.
Flamstead Village School is a small, half-form entry primary school at the heart of life long learning.
We aim to give our pupils a love of learning and to become confident and independent individuals. How we learn is as important as what we are learning, and we want that learning to be engaging, enjoyable and meaningful. We strive to provide an environment that is effective for learning but one that is also safe, relaxed and happy.
We have four mixed age classes, and a strong, stable and supportive teaching and non teaching team.
Our children are fantastic: well behaved and eager to learn. Within our grounds, we have an outdoor learning area, a large field and plenty of space to play and learn. Our school is well-resourced and well supported by the parent community and the wider local community.
Being a small school, each member of staff is a vital part of the team and we are looking for someone who can really embrace this. You will be expected to work alongside other members of staff to support the learning of our children. You will build successful and positive relationships with pupils whilst making learning stimulating and fun.
We are dedicated in providing CPD to all staff and an induction package will be offered to the successful candidate.
We are accessible from many areas and about 16 minutes from Hemel Hempstead. We are also close to Harpeneden and St Albans and two minutes away from junction 9 of the M1.
