We are currently looking to appoint an Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with SEN within our small Early Years class of 14 pupils for 5 mornings per week. Whilst the role is predominately to support one pupil with specific SEN needs, as outlined in their EHCP assessed at Specialist level, the job holder will sometimes undertake general teaching assistant duties within the class which will enable other class adults to support the pupil in question.
This role is 21.25 hours per week- Monday to Friday- 8.45am - 1.00pm, with the option of additional hours for the right candidate as part of our Rise & Shine Club before school. The position is offered on a temporary contract and is attached to the child and funding.
Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS Check and Health Check will be required and you will need to provide satisfactory references.
If you require more information, a telephone conversation with the Headteacher is warmly welcomed.
