With an established record of providing support and promoting growth, Hertfordshire is a hub for teachers and a great place to start your career. A competitive network of professional development assistance, alongside outstanding quality of life, draws hundreds of new teachers (ECTs) here every year.

In Hertfordshire the application process is easy. Our comprehensive recruitment website allows you to search and apply for posts, and regular job alerts keep you up to date with opportunities in the area. On accepting a job you can begin your search for accommodation.

Once here, resources for ECTs are vast within the county. HFL Education offers a full programme of training courses for ECTs, from building confidence in the classroom to ongoing career development and intensive subject-specific training for secondary ECTs.

"The training offered by HFL is fantastic.

The sessions are led by experts in the field who tailored the training to our needs and I have been able to incorporate these tips and tricks into my own teaching. It's also a great opportunity to share experiences and practices in a safe place."
